Hello,

I will show you my trials to give a good rendition of this submarine.
I started this kit a long time ago and had several misadventures with it, including a drop on concrete ...
Now, this project run again.

First of all, the hull. It is delivered in 4 parts. The 2 halves are glued together with additional space in between, to match the size of front and rear parts :

Then the front and rear are added, glued with epoxy bi-component glue. Some sanding is required  :

The rear PE part is added, filled and sanded :

Then the deck, provided also in PE :

To be continued ...
Eric

Hello,

Next pictures with the rear of the submarine. At this point, it is before the drop on floor :

Now it is after some reconstruction, some parts are scratched because they disappeared during accident :

And a closer view of the kiosk :

To be continued ...

What a disaster: A wonderful ship drops on the floor and You've got to repair it. And how You did!
It looks fantasic and to be honest: I don't see anything that looks imperfect.
Great work!!!!

Thank you for the comment !!!
I sprayed a coat of primer from Mr.Hobby can. The look changes a lot :

Next, pre-shading with dark grey, then painting of the front marking red-white-red.

Hello,

A little progress, I painted the flag in front of the submarine. At the beginning of the war, it was quickly painted over, don't ask me why

To be continued with the colour of the underside of the hull.

Very good !

That is an expensive kit, so the drop must have been really a shock moment.

P.S. with kiosque you probably mean the conning tower ?

Is it called 'kiosque' in French ? ... I only have mid- to late-19th century French naval dictionaries ...
