I don't recognize the 76mm gun. Is it the Oto Melara? If so, is it the older (Perry) style which is much more rounded and has a circular access hatch on the rear? The Super Rapid version typically is seen with an angular, faceted stealth mount cover.

Regardless, looking good!

is not the same gun mount that was used on the Perry class.

It is an OTTO 76mm included in the 1/144 Gerard-class PG. I just have not glued the hatch onto the back yet :cool_2:

And BOOM!!! Attached. I am using it, because the models are the same scale.

The actual 76 mm gun is far more circular in shape when viewed from above than the model offering. Don't know if that's something you want to address or not.

Yeah, I noticed that right off the bat. I would need to have a 1/144 made on shapeways if I wanted to correct that. By now I should own stock in shapeways...

Slow progress, but progress nonetheless!

Currently, I am building what I believe to be a modernized version of what should have been built in the 1990s, aka the corvette version of the Cyclone-class.
76mm gun
SPG-60
SRBOC
4-8 Harpoons
2 Mk38 Mod1 25mm guns
1 Phalanx CIWS
and a stern boat ramp able to accept RPBs.

This is all in 1/144.
