Install all railings. But they need to paint in places.
Next will be - additional racks, deck details, flagpoles

This model has certainly turned out spectacular with the best possible detailing in this small scale.
Congrats on this great build!

Pre-comlete model for Shipmodelling Cups and Championships - without gangways, outshoots, seaplanes and sailors/officers figures

Install Hasegawa's flag at aft flagpole
Complete cutters, add Hasegawa's decals, add oars and wash.
And add some over details at aft

Brilliant work, Andrew! Your build is a remarkable example of what can be achieved in 1/700 scale and is absolutely stunning!

I have a question about the Hiragana on the stern and ship's boats - were they ever painted out during the war or were they carried throughout?

You are crazy! :worship_1:

Would it be possible to see the Russian nameplate also?

I'm curious to see it to practice.

Thank you!

I have only 1 photo after 1930s where we can see the hiragana at boats
And I don't havy any photo where we can good see aft of cruiser stern after its refit in 1939-1941.

Myoko March 31 1941

so, I'm not sure if this is correct - Hiragana at stern and on the boats

У вас есть моя благодарность. :thumbs_up_1:

Надпись выглядит хорошо.

Нет 'Гагуро'/'Хагуро'?

How would you write Haguro?
