У вас есть моя благодарность. :thumbs_up_1:

Надпись выглядит хорошо.

Нет 'Гагуро'/'Хагуро'?

How would you write Haguro?

In russian it writes "Хагуро"

Andrew, regarding your question it's Hiragana. The heavy cruiser you see on the picture is not Myoko but Ashigara back in 1937 at Portsmouth England. I'm seeing 4 Hiragana characters and i believe is the ship's name. The name in kanji would've had 2 symbols though.

On my model i made the mistake of adding 2 Hiragana characters though..

Hope this helps!

I have this picture and a lot of over with Ashigara in 1937, were we can see ship's name at cutters/boats.
Yes, this was ship's name.
Hasegawa in its decal gives 16 ship's names for each cruiser for cutters, motor boats/launches. So I use all of them for Haguro.

My result at Tsemess Bay Shipmodel Cup 2017 in Novorossiysk, Russia.
Sevastopol wins Silver medal (2nd place at models in 1/350 scale)
Haguro wins Gold medal (1st plase at models in 1/700 scale) and Small Silver Cup (2nd place for all models at Cup - there were 220-230 scratchbuilt and precast models)

Last progress:
The ship is complete, but without seaplenes and sailor/officer figures.
Seaplanes and figures will be next stage of this WIP

In the last days of 2017 was done:
- installed gangways with rigging and tarpaulin imitation
- installed hooks and pulleys at aft anchor davits
- make and install jack using different decal elements
- install swinging boom with rigging (working guys)
- install lifelines and Jacob's ladders at cutters
