I know someone on World of Warships who served aboard the "Sh*tty Kitty" as an ensign fresh out of Annapolis (strike that, it was Navy ROTC, IIRC). I should direct her here, as she might find this build rather interesting. :)

Starting to add some catwalk detail. Not going for super accuracy here.

Wow! She is looking real great! The shading is brining down many of the sharply contrasting colors really well! At some point, a tutorial in a few pictures would be great. Keep up the good work!

No worries red, you have a full hangar in your Kitty, you're already ahead of me. Had a bit of time before work today so I pressed on with adding port side details.

Inching along. I have to take advantage of every opportunity to work on the Kitty. A little here and there.

Very impressive looking build so far. I especially like how clean the railing placement is and the variation in deck color. This kit tempts me but I have too much as it is!

Nice build!

One thing that bothers me - it seems that you have preainted PE on the frets. How do you deal with shiny brass places when you cut it off the fret? You paint it with brush?

Yes, the tiny shiny is very easy to touch up with dab of hull color and fine tip brush.

Much appreciated Joe! If and when you buy the kit, you will appreciate how well it's engineered.
