Well, that's a very impressive upgrade and worth the effort. Not sure if my Pontos upgrade has the wind deflector parts as well.

Your build made me decide to get the Skulski book too. And boy what a treasure. Some errors in it I think but generally a must for everyone who really wants to know as much as possible about Yamato and Musashi.

Keep up the good work!

Thank you Gewoon and Marijn! Miscellaneous progress. Platforms and photo etch vent covers primarily along with some primer.

Thank you Gewoon. I have actually been building at a 10 hour a week pace, but the progress is not always photo-worthy. I have some more pictures coming in the next couple of days.

I hear you, I'm working on the open triple 25mm guns for a while now, and takes ages to get something finished or ready for photos :heh:

Looking forward to see the update(s)

That photo-etch work is nice and clean. I would have squashed or bent most of it by now. Love the funnel details. This is going to be spectacular when finished.

great work. Nice to see how the different brand etch sets complement each other.

Btw, sanding down the seem on the funnel is something which still scares me a lot at the moment.

Keep up the good work!
