Well when you get old your fingers don't have that Kung-Fu grip anymore. I was cutting off all useless pieces off the hull when I lost my grip. Bow first into the wood deck. POW!!! :censored_2: :Mad_5: Just glad the hull did not break.

Eh, you'll be able to fix that no problem Red!

I have that kit, and it is the nicest resin kit I have ever seen in terms of details and molding. Boy, that will sure be a nice break from that Okinawa kit!

Do you have the original part to restore, or will you re-create it?

I have a couple of 1/700 resin kits that weren't packed well and they have the same issue. That problem rolled them down on my projects-to-build list by about 50 numbers.

Hi Rick, I just shave off the bulwarks and fix the bow. It was my fault anyway when I drop it.

I think I'll just work on the Connie hangar bay for a min. I thought the 1/700 Knox was the pain. This is no joke. The p.e on this thing is the best I seen yet. But man every little detail on this. My eyes are killing me. Who ever has this kit look at the Mack and p.e set. Forget about starting on the hull and bridge area. Start on the Mack and you will see what I mean.
