So, I snagged this one as a started kit for $2 at Blizzcon two weekends ago. It's missing some parts and there is a bit of damage. So far I've repaired the damage and am getting it reassembled. Using Scale Colors line of paints and pigments.

So, here is where things stand after getting paint on the Mutsu this past week. I used the newly released Scale Colors acrylics with nary a hitch or issue. Look for them here: https://scalecolors.com/

I have to attach the waterline base, build, paint and attach the aircraft, paint and attach the lifeboats and then attempt the rigging (having never done it in 1/700 scale before). Then it will be weathering and done!
