Hi all.
This is the Tamiya Yamato 1/350 kit (78025). I want to depict the ship in it's last configuration, during the early stage of Operation
"Ten-ichi-gō", in April 1945.
In the waiting of the shipment of Pontos detail set, I notice a discrepancy in shape between the main and second rudder of the kit and the drawings in "Anatomy of the ship Yamato and Musashi" (edition 2017), pag.126 "official japanese navy drawings". I manually draw a shape based on the measures taken from these drawings and reshaped accordingly the original main kit rudder, then added the skin effect.
Next time it's secondary rudder.
Any suggestion or correction is welcome! Cheers!

Alessandro

That rudder work makes me think it should be the other way around!

Added some details to open hangar deck, hull step's ladders and straightened up hull's kell, aft and bow ends.

Cheers!
