did some cutting from sprue cleaning the pieces...and fitting/gluing level by level...dryfitted...I only glue 2 levels when all details on both is done
This is a very pleasant moment in a kit construction build up...you start from scratch and in 1 day....it does look like something
now comes the long slow process of detailing, correcting etc

It was the admiral's bridge some basic navigational and control devices were fitted - pelorus, telegraphs, voicepipes - here's a bit uninformative picture :-)

Boy, that ship had nice, clean lines. Love the rake at the bow.

Nice job! Keep up the good work.

I agree she was a very beautiful ship with great proportions....I'm against all fanatic extremist regimes...but boy...Nazi Germany knew how to build awesome looking ships
and with it...all the reports I've read....she was a great sea worthy ships...after all ...she did survive 2 atomic bombs before finally capsizing

txs mark...I suppose after looking at many heller 1/400 scale prinz eugen ...haven't seen one yet that has transformed that bridge...glad I did cause as kid compared to pictures...she's very small...how is the admiral gonna walk-work in there.
in the last picture you can see the gray is kid the white my adding...the chair is proportional (I took it from a PE gun I hadn't used) so inside the original kid... there is hardly 80cm (in real scale) the previous pic. black and white of that bridge....shows there is more.

correction...I think Antony Tow made also a modification of that bridge (looks great overal...only would like to have better pictures)

put the 2 outer propellerschafts and rudder...painted the whole....hull almost done now
also defined on deck where the anker chain will go and painted it accordingly...enjoy pics
added for comparison my other build...a T-boot

had a little mail exchange with our fellow modelling Anthony Tow about his model and decided to also modify the airplane hangar and open it up...I'm thinking of using the airplane I have from heller to put in there...on the catapult there will be a resin plane...anyway...here's start.
Like Anthony....it will be 2 floors deep.

done some little things...will post once pics taken...here's one of the arrado that will go inside hangar
I had first bended the wings upwart like the US plaines like Convair...but then I saw a pic of a arrado with wings bent...backwards....so I had to change and try making it look same.
