Did some more modifications and such and got a bit more done. Still needs touching up and then need to add some watertight doors and other PE details.

Haven't had much time the last few weeks but did get some things accomplished. Did some sanding, cleaning up, and touching up and then added some watertight doors, fire hoses, and other small details. Also been working on the main turret, secondary guns, and the main superstructure. I will get some pics uploaded this weekend and maybe some additional progress. :smallsmile:

Here are some recent pics. Still needs some touching up before I start working on adding the CIWS turrets and other assorted things. I had originally planned on four of the 5 inch mounts but ended up using only three because of where I want to mount the forward CIWS units.

A bit more work today. Got the main superstructure mounted along with the anchor chains. Still need a little more filler/touching up and then time to start adding rails and other details.

A bit more progress. Got the directors mounted along with the CIWS mounts and their ammo lockers. Getting ready to do some of the railings on the superstructure and working on the main mast assembly.

Got all the upper deck and hanger railings done along with the main mast assembly and the forward NDTS antenna. Still need the main deck railings and rigging for the NDTS and the mast. Started working on a couple of the helicopters for her today but don't have pics of those yet.

Did a little bit of detail work. All the rails are done, added a couple of antennas, (still need a few more up forward) and scratched the boat davits and mounted them. I also started working on her helicopters.

Rigged the NDTS antenna on the bow, did some rigging on the main mast, and started working on the base.

Did some work on the water and added the helicopters. She is done with the exception of the wake and some additional detailing of the water.
