This topic will be for all smaller ships like the class tarantula, or LCT landing craft and similar size
started these 3 ships when starting modelling a little over 1 year ago....but stopped ...lack of interest....and insight what to do.
now I found the time ...and the will, to do them

those AA gun bath tubes are way to thick... so decided to cut them (that was painful because plastic very hard) and replace with scratch build

lol Jeff ...not gonna use the citroens....had in mind making them red cross/medical vehicles...but not gonna do so

the 2 tanks ...and GMC's will do the job
Pershing is advancing as T26E3- M26...the halftrack needs a little more fine tuning, there are 4 more GMC's in painting center...not yet placed in pics

been thinking...."I was able to scratchbuild a Sherman and a M26 Perching...the LCU and LCT are only 2 landing craft....what if I make a LCVP and LCM(6)...scratch..."
I put overal dimensions of both on a paper sheet ... to see size and compare.....
looks do-able

she's getting close to end...a few more details to do...not much though
the front walking bridge might not be as they where...but I like giving the sailors an easy way of getting from 1 side to the other...and it ads something for the eye to see...lets say " its the artist touch" lol

as I like doing several stuff at same time, I thought doing the Maquette 1/400 Alfa Class Submarine K-123...that went super fast...she was done in about 3H ...paint included...drying time not included.
only negative stuff...their decals are of very poor quality...the dept lines ...well they came to pieces only by trying to moove them on the original paper...so I abandoned to do them....might try getting the periscope straitened later on....but hey the subs are not my head breakers...
I consider them as good to compare with
