Hello.

This is JSC 1/400 card model enlarged.

I started this model some time ago as a simple side project. I got carried away away...

As it usually happens, some company releases their product tomorrow. When did RN start to use waffle pattern doors?

Hello,

I added some PE doors and hatches around the ship. That small tower for a searcligth was a test for my fingers...and nerves. I also dry fitted the AA guns.

Hello.

I started adding anti shrapnel padding. These are easy to do from strip styrene with a hobby saw.
And I added some hard wood grating.

Hello!

I think I have finished the main turrets.
I Have painted most of the ship. After a dark wash she should look ok.

I started a waterline base that will be very dark for Norwegian sea.

Have a nice weekend!!

She's a very pretty ship, and your build pays tribute to her!

Thank You Yuth!

1/700 scale ships are just too small for me to build. And it so fun to add details here and there. Adding PE scares me!

Hello!

My Penelope meets the sea! Sorry for my photos. I have just my phone.

I have done a lot of work with my model. I even started adding PE-parts. I have a Lot to learn...

I heard what happened to Shapeways and it is sad news. But we all (whoops, most of us) have our own 10 finger printers!!
