Good evening, comrades. It's been a long time since I posted my work and, therefore, I need to improve. Now I have a little more free time and decided to start a simple construction of the first nuclear icebreaker. I like the ship itself very much and have long wanted to see a copy of it on the shelf. And now, the time has come and I am in a hurry to share the progress of the model and hear advice, criticism and comments. In my work, I rely on photos from a 1/200 scale paper model and a real ship.

Very impressive! :thumbs_up_1:

Which decals do you use? My kit did not contain decals.

Do you know which time frame is depicted? For sure, after the accidents with the reactors and the re-fitting with only two reactors.

Good evening comrade! Looks like an excellent build of a difficult (PE intensive) kit.

Greetings to all! It's been a long time since I updated a construction site, but that doesn't mean that nothing is being done with the model. Quietly, but confidently, the process is progressing and at the moment the aft mast has already been made and work has begun on the superstructure. Well, I show the current state of the model. I apologize in advance for such an abundance of photos.

:wave_1: I ordered the decals separately so that the model was as close as possible to the prototype. Yes, the model is built for the period after the conversion and modernization, when two reactors were installed and the displacement increased. But there may be drawbacks, since I largely focus on photos of the current state of Lenin.

Thank you very much! Yes, they made it at the same time as the waterline model.

Combrig offers the Lenin kit as 70369WL and 70369FH.

70369FH includes as additional part the hull below the waterline. The propellers etc. are included in both versions.

Good day to all! It's been a while since I've updated a building site, but that doesn't mean I've been sitting around doing nothing. Therefore, in this post there will be a lot of photos and, I hope, you will not get tired of viewing them
The first thing I did was bring the taps to mind:

Next, I took up the central superstructure and tried to refine it from the photos:

he held out the cables for the bow arrows:

I did a little bit of boating:

And installed all the painted good on the model itself:

Beautiful little yachts. Are you sure this is not 1/350?

thank you very much, I am very glad that the model causes a pleasant impression. And no, it's not 1/350
Meanwhile, the icebreaker reached 97 percent readiness (approximately). I attach a lot of photos, but please be patient and view them all
