Here's another kit that Ive almost completed building with the exception of painting and detailing.

Hmm...I usually paint/spray before assembling, since it's easier to paint the individual small parts while they're still on the plastic trees. But of course everyone seems to have their own method. I usually assumed people who did the assembling first were doing it for "dry fitting" purposes such as for testing PE fit.

Personally I dont get the "spray before you build" concept, I dry fit along the way which works for me.

Hey, 'shipclambake'...... it looks Good!!! Just looking for color on your JS Kongo!!!

Hey, was it You that was looking for photo-etch on a JMSDF ship, wasn't too sure if it was you or somebody else I have contact with....

Found the PE sheet for JS Shirane and Haruna for 1/700 scale........these were the ones that I used when I did my build. Both can be found on 'Evil-bay', but I have found a set (both of them) for a Very good price.

Let me know ASAP!!!
