Beautiful work Christoph! :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1: What ship is moored alongside Taiho? It looks very familiar but I'm having a brainfart trying to recall the name?

Hello,

thanks for your nice words

Bob the ship alongside the Taiho is the IJN oiler/supply ship Shioya from Niko. ( i know that both ships were never together in combat but i found it is a nice idea for a diorama.)

For the Taiho i have used the Fujimi PE set and the wood deck. The 25mm aa guns i have replaced with some from FineMolds. Perhaps i will later replaced the original Fujimi 10cm guns with some from Ripple Ateilier ( FleetNet).

For the Shokaku i have used the PE flightdeck from Flyhawk, 25mm guns from FineMolds, 12,7cm from Veteran Models and the planes are from LionRoar.

Both kits are missing some smaller parts and details and are not ready yet..thes are only first impressions of both.
Sorry for the bad quality of the pics i think i'm not a good photographer

Best regards

Chris

As always with your work - very neat, Christoph!

Looking forward to seeing the models "in the flesh"
