Here are a couple of in progress pics of the Toho Maru.
The bridge structure and rear structure, including funnel are just dry fitted at this time.
More to follow.

Here are a couple more shots of the Toho Maru. The main color is Yokosuka gray, for the deck I chose Sasebo Gray. She needs to undergo touch ups and have her wood decks painted(around majority of bridge structure and far outside smokestack platform). I also carved off the molded on anchor windlass and replaced it with one from BattleFleetModels.
Thank you Harry! It really makes a big difference comparing it to the original kit part. For the anchor chains I used the LionRoar anchor set. She's coming along slowly due to my New Orleans build. More pics to follow.

Here are a couple more pics. Deck is all painted, hull plate is not glued in place for that "riding high" look. Its an easy ship to build but the boats and guns would benefit from a Skywave accessory set. There is one piece of photoetch I'm trying to figure out where it goes, it looks to be a brace behind the forward deck gun platform. I believe it goes in between the gun and forward hold compartment? I'll have to check that out tomorrow.

Thank you Guys for your comments. I'm sorry to have given you such crappy photos, :mad_1: so, I have retaken some shots using my camera tripod that my wife gave me for Christmas. I should've used this from the start. So here are a couple clear shots of her. She is about 75% complete.

Its a crappy day here in Oklahoma today, its freezing rain outside, so here are a couple more pics of the TM.
Both catwalks have been added along with the searchlight platform, which are kit photoetch parts. The lifeboats and vents are Skywave parts. The kit supplied parts for these items are terrible.
The other two ships with the tanker are two IJN patrol boats. They are PB-31 and PB-46. The PB-31 is the Momi kt, and PB-46 is the Wakatake kit. The PB-46 has a scratchbuilt platform between the two funnels for two twin 25mm guns. I will be using the vents from the tanker kit which will be better suited for these two escorts.
