Now that I’ve finally built a ship, I can move from lurk mode to post mode.

Hasegawa Shimakaze with the Infini full upgrade set. Half the parts are, “You gotta be freakin’ kiddin’ me” size, and the Hasegawa vinyl linoleum decks. Except for the anchors… I knew I would forget something… the build part of this is in the books. Just need a break and allow the brain to normalize before staring in on the rigging.

Very handsome build of an attractive ship.

Looking forward to your next one.

Very good work, Marc. Looks like you conquered the seam at the stern.

Should be even better with the rigging.

I look forward to seeing her on the tables at MCon this year.

Fantastic work! This really looks nice! Please show more pics when you get the rigging finished, and yes, those little tiny parts are a real pain in the ass, aren't they?

Thanks for all the comments/complements guys. means a lot when it comes form real ship builders.

Dan... when you've built as many aircraft as i have you learn how to deal with a seam. ;)

Larry... yup PITA indeed. I'm worried about little things showing up in my next CT scan from taking a deep breathe.

That is a very attractive little ship, lean and hungry-looking. And a very nice build too!
