Conversion of Revell 1:429 Arizona to 1916 as built
So here we go. The stern is certainly the wrong shape. And the hull has gaps but not too bad.

On the slips: BB-39 USS Arizona ( Revell 1:429 ,1916 as built conversion )

so how are you going to correct the stern or are you?
this is part of the process that I use to correct that stern. I have modified that process a bit by removing the rudder skeg so easier to correct the stern & make a new rudder skeg after the stern is corrected.

that is just the 1st layer as the next 3-4 layers goes parallel to the keel. each layer is sanded & shaped before the next layer goes on. no putty involved at all.
