Awesome work, Bob =) It's good to see all the errors in the CASF thread being corrected here. It will for sure be useful if I ever get around to my yet-to-be-had Petr.

Congratulations Bob,
This kit needs a lot of work and you surely have done a good start. You are doing a great work on pin pointing and fixing the inaccuracies. Keep up this way as I need an inspiration to start my Kirov.
ps: I'll make my small contribution of Kirov's photos on CASF.

Great work Bob. Can he build? The answer sure is: YES he can! Never seen a kit so modified to such an extent with such a smooth finish! Keep it going, you'll have a very nice result!

Looking good, Bob, keep it up. 350's a scale where the errors love to show themselves, as there's just so much more to see. I'd have to clear my desk to do 350, my supplies have invaded most of it.
Can he fix it? Yes He Can!

Very nicely done, Bob - this is AMS at its best.
I actually didn't know the Kirov had reload hatches for her SS-N-14 tubes, that's handy stuff to know. Love the whole look overall, she's really nice.
I'm looking forward to seeing the finished piece, she'll be a stunner for sure.

Nicely done! Whenever I get mine, I'll probably just add the extra length to the bottom, sand back the leading edge to create that step, and scribe the extra steps on the surface, hehe.

Hello Bob,
I`m REALLY loving your work on the Veliki. I`m building one, too, & was wondering which PE you were going to fit him in, & the colour you were going to finish him with? Although i usually go with WEM PE, i`m strangely drawn to GMM for the Kirov. Dunno why, just, umm, dunno...Anyhoo....
Would appreciate your thoughts ( and any other of you guys watching this buildup, don`t feel left out!!!), on these subjects, & wish you luck on the ongoing project.
Yours, Dean Lynch, London UK.
