Quite some time ago, and never really knew who he was, or why he contacted me, Jim Baumann has sent me emails ever since, lucky enough to have met the man at Telford, he originally sent me some photo's of Mr Hodges dockyard, all scratch built and all looking as if you could book up a fishing boat, Mr Hodges in my humble opinion isn't a model builder but more artist, you say 1 of 10, in this case I can only greedily await the others.

I would love to see his work up close. It's like looking through a Norman Rockwell calender.

There's nothing that I don't like abou this one, you've got people simply standing about having a chat, the grot of the sea constantly rolling in and out of the harbour, varied colours of splash lines up against the cobbled wall, almost smell the salt air ---------- and yes of course -------------- MORE PLEASE !

I was, and have been amazed by Mr Hodges work, while I have nether the skill nor the room, these dioramas are simply gold, I hope you don't mind me posting the above photo.
