My sailing ships in 1/1200

When I was watching the movie "Master and Commander" I was fascinated by the sailing ships and decided to start with one. It should be a very small one and in a very small scale. I bought the "kit" (6 soft metal pieces) of a Xebec from GHQ from the wargamer supplier magister militium

The price was 7 �.

After 5 days the model is nearly finished.

This ship is very tiny. I also got inspired by Jim Bauman's model of SS Felicity

especially the red sails of Felicity look magnificent.

I added some details to the 6 parts of the model:
The lamps are from the Ishida (Chrysanthemum) set IJN binoculars in 1/700. At first I thought it was garbage because they are transparent and very small.
The flag is from the Pit Road John C. Butler class kit.
The block imitation is from Ocean Spirit H025 (fantastic!).
The anchors are modified from Flyhawk FH700116.
and some other 1/700 PE parts.

Looks fantastic! And I thought 1/700 scale was tiny.....
