I am not sure if this has any relevance for anyone, but I recently found in the DVD I burned where I had downloaded all of the drawings back in 2006. There are just over 6,100 drawings in tiff format and around 4 GB in size total.

I am not sure how to share them but if someone needs something we can figure something out

I need to change file to be able to upload. Txt is not allowed

Cheers,
Todd

The inventory of the drawings is still on-line: https://www.servicehistorique.sga.defense.gouv.fr/sites/default/files/2020-02/SHDAA_REP_5I_NO_929_1800_1952.pdf

That's wonderful! You should reach out to forum member Foute Man, who's been migrating many of the internet's general plans onto the Archive.org site and it'd be great if yours could join them: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=376928

that list is not complete as does not have "ACONIT 1965" & maybe others as I have 2 folders of files from that site with 1 having 319 files properly named at 2.45gb & another 883 improperly named files like this "GM01PL0001" at 158mb.

The list states that it covers the period 1800 to 1952.

I gather, that each year, once the confidentiality has expired, additional material is released into the public domain by the navy.

As I am only interested in pre-1900 material, I did not check, whether there is an updated list on the SHD Web-site.

I am not sure what the SHD would say, if copies of their holdings suddenly appeared on archive.org. One would need to discuss such 'migration' with them beforehand ...

I have some images of plans of WW2 landing craft which I understood came from the French National Archives. Typical examples are LST21943PL1480 and LCA 1942C083(1) for a LST and a LCA respectively and in Tif format. Were they from a separate collection and, if so, any suggestions on how to access the whole set?
