 Post subject: Northampton Plans?

Anyone have a set of plans, or just a good profile plan view, of a Northampton? I have an old BWN kit of Houston where the hulls needs some TLC.

Body, plus sheer of stem & stern, 24"x36", December 27, 1927, 1/4" scale.
Booklet of general plans: August 12, 1941, Inboard profile, outboard profile, main deck, 2nd deck, forecastle & upper decks, 1st platform deck, 2nd platform deck, hold, inner bottom, upper platform, 36" searchlight platform, signal bridge, top of conning tower, 24" searchlight platform, hood over radio house, lower platform, radio transmitter top, deck over hanger, communications platform, pilot house top, navigation bridge, AA machine gun platform and forward fire control.
Ships of class: Chester (CA-27), Louisville (CA-28), Chicago (CA-29), Houston (CA-30) and Austoria (CA-31.

i tried to get these from him as i live in Australia got no reply,but they seem to be the plans you want.

I have some 1/96 Plans of USS Houston 1941 by PA Webb ( 1975) that I am never likly to use, I also did a small set which I have scanned ( to big for here)
I have e mailed it to you

So I assume that you like it ! Paul Webbs series of Warship Drawings when it came out in 1970s was and still is very good value . I thinks that it part of what we are here for is to share old treasures like this around.
