Anyone interested in buying this book can also find 4 copies at Amazon at the moment. For this particular title that almost represents a glut!

Dear Danno, I would not get your hopes up - this is from four years ago ;)

Just be slightly wary that I think they are all the US printing, which is not as good quality as the UK Arms and Armour one.

The American printing was very badly done. Photo reproduction was terrible!

About two years ago I was in possession of both the A&AP edition (ISBN 0853689148) and the NIP edition (ISBN 0870210610). I decided to sell one and so compared the two carefully: there was no obvious difference. So I ended up selling the NIP edition, since that was missing its cover.

Well there is a great deal of difference in the Raven volumes printed in the UK and the USA., I may be confusing those with the Burt but I think I am right in saying they were the same publishers in both cases?

Yes, both the Raven & Roberts books and the Burt books were published by Arms and Armour Press in the UK and by the Naval Institute Press in the US. However the R&R books preceded the Burt books by a decade or so; perhaps the situation had improved by the time this book appeared in 1988.
