Looking for references for the turret ironclad HMS Monarch. Are there any books or references that have good photos, especially detail photos? Also any good plans of the ship as completed - I have a side and overhead drawing of the ship but it is post 1892 refit when her upper works were rearranged. Currently I have Friedman's British Battleships of the Victorian Era and Warrior to Dreadnaught, which have a couple pictures each but none that show much detail.

I would also be interested in anything with good drawings of the central battery ships Belerophon and Hercules. Thanks!

You will find all in Oscar Parkes book British battleships, and in on-line National Maritime Museum.

Edit: book has been recovered! So I now have a copy. The pictures don't add much over the Friedman and Brown books, but there is a low detail profile drawing.
