Hello everyone,

I'm wondering if there are any books containing pictures and/or plans of HMS Courageous and Glorious in there light cruisers incarnation. I have seen a book called british cruisers in world war 1 by R.A. Burt but don't know what's inside. Is it a good buy?

Try these two books, they deal with Courageous and Glorious as Battle Cruisers very well. Drawings and pictures included.

"Battlecruisers" By John Roberts , ShipShape Series, Chatham Publishing, London/ or US Naval Institute Press here in North America.

"British Battleships of World War I" by RA Burt , Arms and Armor Press in the UK / or US Naval Insitiute Press here in North America.

Excellent books and you will find all you are looking for in them

Also try the Journal "Warship 1990 Edition" an article entitled "The Weird Sisters" photos and an operational history of these two Battle Cruisers in WWI.
