Dear Fellow Modellers

Got this one a while back as I liked the scheme. It reflects the last period of pre-war optimism in Merchant Shipping

The kit came with a rather tough stainless steel fret. I made some efforts to make the central bridge structure open like the original.

I dressed it up with resin winches and ventilators.

Hope you like it?

Andrew

Jeez, I just am noticing this now, Andrew. Great job! The bridge looks really nice, so do the booms. A little detailing went a long way with this build. The black hull obscures the depth of the molded hull plating, in a good way.

What color are the decks? I can't make them out.

I am encouraged to complete mine. Thank you.

Thanks Dan!

For the decks I used RN deck grey/green from the WEM colourcoats range. I really had no idea what to do, it certainly wasn't going to be IJN linoleum!
