This is the companion to my Melbourne from another thread, I think it deserves its own. The HP Agincourt is a nice but basic kit and converting her to Aisne went relatively easy. It took me about a month of modeling time. HP's resin only approach is mainly a problem with the twin 40mm mountings and the main mast and I was replacing these parts anyway. I did make one real mistake, I misinterpreted the drawings and pictures of the Squid magazine and built it out too far to starboard.

Very interesting subject.
Nice rendition of a kit which has some issues.
Much work must have gone into improving details to make her look like this.

I avoided most problems by rebuilding part the superstructure.



Having lot of PE in the stash also helped. One of the masts is from a Sovremenny, the other is a widened version of the mainmast for HMS Tiger.
