Hi all,

This is USS Saratoga, early 1945.
Kit's from Tamiya (with Pontosmodel PE set), sailor's from Eduard.
I gave this model to Mr. Shunsaku Tamiya (chairman of Tamiya) as a gift.

A lovely build! The water and details look very nice! Congratulations! It must be a very special gift for Mr. Tamiya! :thumbs_up_1: :woo_hoo:

Wow, stunning. I love the weathering on the hull and flight deck. Congratulations.

That's a wonderful build. At first look I would have thought it was a larger scale. There's so much going on within the model. Great water base and photography. Thanks so much for sharing your work with us!

Beautiful build of a very handsome ship! Pity that Pontos set for Sara was never released as a stand-alone item.

Beautifully done. I also admired the subtle deck weathering. The detailing was also impressive.

What a masterpiece! Absolutely love the flight deck weathering! Couldn't resist and ordered the Tamiya + Pontos kit almost immediately...
