Hello!
I haven't been on this website in a long time, now that I am retired I am looking for information that I believe is sitting right here in front of me. I have started to build my third 1:200 scale ship, the Mighty Hood but this time I'm building it backwards. I've built Bismarck (Aeronaut kit) HMS Rodney (Trumpeter kit) and both were built before I built the display stand and then the display case (1/4" plate glass). This time I am building the base (completed) and am starting the case using plexiglass instead of plate glass (very heavy).
Question... How tall is the Trumpeter 1:200 scale HMS Hood finished product, keel to highest point, so I know how high to make the case. Length and width are mentioned on the box but not the overall height.
Can someone take a measuring stick and help me?

Figure out the scale of the painting diagram, then just measure the painting diagram's height and scale to 1/200!

Might be off by a few fractions of an inch due to measurement or manufacturing tolerances, but otherwise should be fine since they're all working from the same CAD model to create the physical kit.
