1/700 USS Hercules PHM-2

Post by NukeMM »

Has anyone actually put together one of these hydrofoils that come with many Skywave and DRAGON 1/700 kits?

Here is my rendition.......It was fun.

It was a fun build for me too Carl. I especially like the appearence of the waves.
On the workbench:

Various 1/700 aircraft.
Juan Carlos I LHD 1/700.
HMAS Canbera LHD 1/700.
FGS Type 122 class FFG 1/700.
LSD-41 class LPD 1/700.

Thanks, Gentlemen!

A rainy day project that turned into about 5 days.

I now wish that I had tried to replace the dome tower with an open tripod tower. I don't think that I had the skill at the time, but maybe I do now. My ambition and confidence are slowly building up.

Nicely done. Is the water one of those Tamiya plates?
