OK, now you've done it. Now You've done it!!
You may have just put a strain on my marriage.
I'm going to have to start collecting parts to build the Ranger, and it's those Hovers that've done it.
Your 350s look as good as my 48s.

Digging them hawkeyes when I was in my teens [25 plus years ago] and living in Long Island I would see them on a daily basis as they flew over my parents house.. Looking at your E-2 brings back some good memories... Thanks for posting....

Thanks guys :thumbs_up_1:

Will take a little break in between aircraft building. Purchased a set of Black Dog deck tractors this morning, so I'll work on them next to break up the boredom.

Finished up the forklifts this morning and got them on the flight deck. Pretty happy with their dirty and grimy appearance. Still waiting on the deck tractors to come in next week and I bought a micro cutting bit for my Dremel to open up the Tomcat cockpits (got to get a micro chuck though). Got to fix the rear portion of the starboard elevator and smooth it out a bit more.

The deck equipment is definitely starting to breathe life into her.

Many thanks fellas :thumbs_up_1:

While I'm waiting on my stuff to arrive from WEM, I decided to try my hand at cutting one of the cockpits open on the Tomcats. Got to clean it up a little bit but I'm pretty darned happy to be able to plop that PE cockpit tub in it.

Blake!!!!!

You managed to turn those horrible, inaccurate Trumpeter pieces into a VERY impressive ship!!! :thumbs_up_1:
makes me think that I may have gone a tiny bit overboard for accuarcy on mine.. :Oops_1:
and the airwing is fantastic!!!!! are you going to put a cocpit in every Tomcat?!
Let me know if you accidentally built 2 or 3 too many E-2-s, and I can take 'em off your hand. I would be proud to put them on my ship! ( I actually love all your planes, but I need low-viz paintjobs for my carrier)
keep it up!!!!!

Cheers: Laci

Laci,
Thank you much bud! I have 10 Cats total and four or five of those will get open cockpits. Even though the GHQ Weapons set is slightly overscale, I'm going to pick up a couple of sets of them too.
