It is a model of poor quality. Numerous improvements have been employed.
Hangar rebuilt.

5-inch guns with needles of 0.5 and 0.8 mm.

Chains cooper wire.


Masts completely rebuilt.

Location Phalanx.
A lot of work for a very interesting boat in poor quality kit.
Paints used:
Humbrol M-126 (FS36270) and M-125 (FS36118).
The Gateway is made with a catapult.
Rigging: Uni Caenis.

In port. The water tank is made of wire.
Small boat Scracht.


Sea base = Frank Spahr method.

This one looks nice two, The masts add a nice touch. I know the Arii ones were aweful and tough to get off the sprue without breaking. You might want to take a really sharp pencil and shade in the windows. It's really the only thing missing from your build. Nice job!

Spruances Class ships are a very interesting and beautiful.
The kit has a very fragile in parts and many faults which I have tried to fix. The masts have had much work but I think the result is good. The original masts were poor.

Also wanted to say that this forum is something spectacular to learn this great hobby. Your works are very, very, very interesting. Thank you again.
