Light cruiser USS Helena (1/700, Niko Models) 70 years ago

Today 70 years ago USS Helena was sunk in the Battle of Kula Gulf.

The model was built using the Niko Models kit adding brass 6 in barrels (by BMK), a new main mast and the position of the after Mk 33 director was corrected. Helena was painted using Vallejo 58 and 166. Decals are from Midship Models and Starfighter Decals.

Well done, sir.

Your U.S.S. Nashville looks great also. Very clean builds of my two favorite classes of U.S. light cruisers.

Best Regards,

Mac
