I posted this under the appropriate "cruiser fan" section but just thought it would fit better here: This is my just completed Prinz Eugen. Additions are the "Flyhawk" super detail set, "Master" bofor gun barrels, "Pontos" deck, and numerous scratchbuilt items. Enjoy.

Wonderful work!
I myself am a big fan of the Kriegsmarine cruiser and did last year, "Admiral Hipper" built!
You've built the Prince really outstanding!
Hey, thanks for all the kind words. It makes me feel like my efforts were worth it. GTdeath, the rigging, (most of the horizontals), was done with fine EZ Line, a stretchable line used most often in model railroading. The verticals are different diameter fly fishing line attached with white glue. As a side note, none of the rigging was shortened with heat. They were all cut to length and applied. Most of the aerials have some slack in them anyway. The insulators on the rigging were created with small blobs of white glue and painted. Hope this explanation answers your question.
...a fanatastic build! And of course a beautiful ship, IMHO the best looking Kriegsmarine vessel...! Sometimes here it is called "die kleine Bismarck"!
