I like your work so far on your Trumpeter Hornet.

I also have a couple of questions:

What did you use to simulate the props spinning for the B25s? They look sort of like some particular, transparent Lego parts used for lamps, that were glued on to your planes.

Also, what made you choose to build the Trumpeter kit when the Tamiya kit of the same ship has been on the market for many years?

i took trumpeter cause it was the first i saw in ebay
i'm not picky as to brand, i'm just happy to be able to build, there's no dealer here so i gotta get what i can
most of my ships happen to be trumpeter
i bought some subs from hen that happens to be tamiya
my enterprise is tamiya but the hornet, hancock, essex, and yorktown are trumpeter
the disks are from a kit i got at the dollar store
look at womens tops
you see these glitter disks sewn on
i got the idea from that when i saw a top my better half bought and showed me
first thing that popped in my head when i saw the top was"wow!, rotating prop blades!"
she was surprised when i grabbed a B17 and checked the disk size
when she went to the dollar store she saw 2 packs and bought both knowing it was what i wanted and made sure i had lots of spares
lol

Nice action shot! Good representation of those beasts taking off. :thumbs_up_1:

I like the discs too, good to know now lol. I might have to try it as well.
