Here is my four attempt of building a model, the DDG-175 Myoko in 1/700 scale, which is built to complete the group of three destroyers in the movie 'Battleship'. The kit is from Hasegawa, comparing with the photos of 1/700 DDG-175 Myoko from Pit-Road, I think it has more finer detail than Pit-Road's offer. The details of Pit-Road's Myoko is a bit over emphasized/overscaled. However, the hasegawa's Myoko is way from perfect, especially the fitting. There are so many seams need to be filled and sand. In some of the parts, the filling and sanding works need some extra attention not to hurt the details on the parts.

This time, I self build the mast since I have not got the FH's PE set. Apart from that, I only added some PE ladders, JMSDF modern railings, rotors for the helicopter and some self-built details

Ok, here is the completed ship, hope you like it.

You have quite the fleet going now.

I look forward to your next installment.

Very nicely done. Really like the weathering.
