Not a great model but a small project that is full of fun and no pressure.

It is based on Combrig's 1:700 model kit. Not much modification is needed but I did replace the main barrels as the parts provided look so under scale in my old eyes.

Not my cup of tea but a fantastic build, neat looking ship. :thumbs_up_1:

Well done sir. Very neat looking little model. Rigging and sails are brilliant and seldom modeled on these transitional ships.

Exceptional work,

Mac

Very nice! They looked so odd with sails and your model depicts this very well!

Which parts do you used for the guns? Where you get the brass barrels?

Love it! Such a great little gem of an unusual ship.

What did you do to give the sails their slightly tanned colour?

Thx! I simply dip the sails into a cup of red tea. Hahaha

Oh very nice! This looks like a great kit, I will have to add it to my stash.

I did a scratch build of USS BOSTON (her sistership) for Commodore Dewey`s Asiatic Squadron.
Looks like the Combrig kit is great.

I like the sails - ship of a transitional era.

Sweet little model, the sails really add to the overall appearance. Nicely done.
