The Z-39 pulls into port. A fun build, the instructions sheet not withstanding. We've all been "Dragoned" before with crap instructions but these were new low. Parts with an arrow pointing in the general direction of where it goes. Parts paper in a drawings like magic and nowhere previously mentioned. Wrong part numbers, part drawing that don't match the parts. You get the picture (too bad Dragon didn't) ;)

So for your consideration and critique...

Nice work, Marc. Sorry I couldn't make the club meeting Friday. Would have liked to see her in person.

Thanks very much Dan.

Thanks Martin. No worries. But I was looking forward to some up close and personal critiquing. ;)

Nice build! You are good at weathering. Drilling out postholes adds to authenticaty!

I cannot see whether you have filled the holes or not. In my 1:100 Zerstörer project I have used plastic rods cut to pieces. In my 1:100 Bismarck I used wood glue (think you call it White Glue – Elmer White Glue etc). I bought some stuff called Micro Kristal Klear (yes – it’s written that way). It's excellent, and it IS White Glue - no more, no less.
I now use it for any kind of “windows”: portholes, bridge, launches, aircraft etc. Perfect result and lots of time saved compared to other methods. :thumbs_up_1:

Marc -

I'm hoping to be at the meeting Friday. If you can, bring Z-39 along. I'd like to see her.
