Here's pics of my build of Tamiya's 1/700 JDS Osumi kit, with PE railings added as well as an Osprey added in anticipation of Japan's eyeing an Osprey acquisition. The Osprey was from a Trumpeter set.

I photographed the Osumi alongside an old build of the AEGIS destroyer Kongo from the Skywave/Pit-Road kit for comparison purposes, previously mentioned on this other thread.

Hey 'Haijin watcher'.... I like your build of JDS Osumi, I have that Tamiya kit also, but Cannot find the PE for that kit.

I understand it has been a Long Time since you did that build, but do you remember from where you purchased the Photo-Etch for Osumi.....I understand that PitRoad made one, but....

I should be finishing JMSDF Shirane DDH-143 soon, and will be posting on YT, but I also did a write-up on both ships, check them out.

My project, is to show the evolution of the DDH in JMSDF's up to the "Ibuki", and my next build after Shirane will be JMSDF Hyuga (of its class-name) and JMSDF Kaga (of the Izumo-class). I even bought a IJN Kaga, that I will be building later, just to show the differences/similarities of the Kaga!!
