Here is my 1/350 Jeremiah O'Brien. I used the Trumpeter kit with Tom's Model Works Liberty Ship PE set. I tried out some weathering on her and even though it turned out a little heavier than I wanted, I learned some good stuff for next time. I used Modelkasten 0.3 mm wire for the boom rigging and I painted her with AK Interactive Acrylics and put her in a base. A nice, fun build.

Nice work, I'm almost ready to paint mine, but I've stalled.

Really, really nice, mine is almost done.

With regard to weathering, I visited the Russian Convoy museum at Loch Ewe and was talking to one of the locals and looking at some of the photo's they have, the general consensus on rust and weathering was, 'when you think you have done enough, do some more!'

The Liberties were used and abused and no-one really cared about their appearance as long as they delivered the goods!

Cheers, Jabb

Thanks everyone. She was a very enjoyable build and I learned some good stuff. Mike.
