Flyhawk’s 1/700 HMS AURORA. Used Model Master Acryl paints and some kit and mostly Gold Medal Model photo etch from the WW2 British Warship set. Replaced the masts with bronze and plastic rod. Used 20 denier UNI Caenis Thread from J. Stockard for rigging. Very nice kit and models of British Cruisers are always appreciated.

This was the category winner (split - Cruisers, 402B) at this years NATS. I had ample opportunity to judge it. A very crisp, clean build. The photos don't do it justice. Bravo Zulu, Richard!
