This model has been converted from a Trumpeter Tribal class kit.I was able to use some of the parts from the kit ,but the 4" mounts and ships boats are from Shapeways. The rest of the structure has been scratch built and odds and ends from my spares locker. The Hull was shortened by .55",and the hull sheer increased by 0.1".
It nice to be back ship building again!

Thanks for looking

Phil

Phil,

Glad to see you back at it! As always, your builds never cease to deliver on a beautiful subject to look at. I did want to comment however, in this day and age of different mediums for water, yours never fails to impress me with its feel, wakes and more importantly, the color. I could totally feel the North Atlantic, fantastic job as always!

Matt

A wonderful feeling transmits the model.
There really is a feeling that this is a real ship.
Excellent and juicy colors,i really like this dark glow paint for sea.
My congratulations :thumbs_up_1:
