that darker grey plastic block is the wrong shape according to that picture & the bulwarks(walls) is the wrong shape as are the 2 sponsons as they are square shaped in the picture not rounded in the model part.

mmm...not sure what you mean....for the roundings of the bulwarks...it might be that the picture isn't Scheer but graf spee....as I have seen a picture with roundings...or say I think they are...but the drop of hight in the bulwarks are faster than hellers ...I designed on pic

look at that picture I sent you a few weeks back that shows both the topview & side profiles of the 1942/44 Scheer as you are somewhat correct as it is somewhat rounded not square. the armored conning bridge(?) in that picture I sent you is more rounded topview not side profile then your model version.

often ...heller kit are very simple...look real radar and heller's...tat's gonna need some ...improovements

true...was looking for correct word and radar came to mind...but should have been "gun director"

a quick dry put together of bridge part and pagode....ok..pagode isn't right name but its a good step to the Japanese pagode mast of their warships like Kongo

back on the scheer....changed my radar position on top of mast..top elements where inversed ..finished it some more
and build the crane...modification of heller crane (drilled te whole to make it lighter) and added some realing wheels to have a functional one
