One of my latest builds are the two Combrig kits of the Gunboat IJN Heien and the unprotected Cruiser IJN Takao.
The models are build as they where during the Russian-Japanese War 1904.
As pics are rar forgive me some inaccuracies.

Both models were a joy to build and I had a lot of fun with them.
The models are only lightly enhanced with some pe parts.

Some pics of the Takao:
Takao was an unprotected Cruiser and was used as a dispatch vessel.

And some pics of Heien:
Heien was a captured chinese Vessel and was used as a gunboat during the siege of Port Arthur. There it rammend a mine and sunk.

I hope you like some unusual models from me.
More from this time frame are coming from me  .

Thanks for sharing your excellent builds of these two Japanese warships; I also have the Combrig 1/700 IJN Cruiser Takao kit and have some excellent guidelines for building it.

Thank you :wave_1:

Marijn, yes the water looks great but also boring.
On my next model I tried a new technic. I hope I can show the pics here soon.

Greetings Christian
