This is my conversion of the Trumpeter Cornwall kit to represent HMS London after her major rebuild. It was more involved than I first thought, the Cornwalls hull needed to have the bulges removed ,and a new armoured belt fitted.90% of the superstructure has been scratch built ,using Profile morksie plans.I used only the 8" turrets ,B and X deckhouses from the kit .I was hard going in parts ,but well worth it in the end.

Regards Phil

I am speechless.

I was wondering if anyone would try for this conversion.

Spectacular result, and so soon after your last one!

Hey Phil, well done! The result looks very good. :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1:

How did you get the sidewalls of the hull upright? I'm curious!

Thanks to all.To get the sides of the Hull vertical I did a major surgery and cut out an oblong, and used plastic sheet to fill in the gap ,and make the armoured belt.

Regards Phil

Nice work as usual Phil, I have been following your conversion on the Royal Navy Model Ships Facebook page, it's been interesting and enjoyable to follow your progress from start to finish.
