I just double checked my directions, and looked at the forward end of my flight deck, right side up, and it appears I got them correct?? If I am reading the directions wrong, then they are just going to stay the way they are, cuz I aint changing it! :doh_1:

Mark is right Jason, but one won't see much from these small supports though once the deck is placed on top of the ship.
I am using stryrene for all the supports, looks much better but again, a pain in the ass.
Using the PE catwalks is one to remember too well, you should know by now Jason :lol_4:
WEM is much thinner material, which I am not really happy for, I just wished I go't for GMM.

You hangar looks great Man. I still need to start with this.

Another thing Jason, when you start painting the centerline landing stripes on deck, you will find out that the centerline is incorrect.
You really need to relay on research material.

O-those chinese#$%^@!~ great guys, don't get me wrong...

Coming along great man! :thumbs_up_1: My catwalk work won't be started until much later. I chose the other route in that I'll begin that work after the hull and flight deck are painted. I want to handle the model as little as possible after I have those walkways mounted up.

Well, got some paint work done, so no more brass PE to look at along the railings. Also got started on the island structure today. I decided a long time ago that I would make the island window with green "glass". It's just Greet sheet PVC. Lots of clean up work yet to do...

Some More PE, as well as the main mast. I am supposed to put PE railing along the yard arms, but that may be one of those projects that you consider well enough alone.
Almost time to do some scratchbuilding on the starboard Island CIWS sponson. You can see the part I have to scratchbuild at the bottom picture.

FLight deck was painted today, as was a base gray coat of paint for the island. Now, its a matter of finishing up a lot of detail painting and decaling. Oh, plus those nuisance aircraft things.
(It's not really about the aircraft ) ;)
