Hey all! Long time lurker but I finally made an account so I thought I'd share a model.

I've built some 1/700 ships before when I was younger but this is the first one I've finished using as many techniques and tricks as I could including the extensive PE upgrade set, aftermarket AA suite, crew, decent rigging, full weathering, and sea base.

The kit is the Trumpeter Prinz Eugen with Flyhawk upgrade set. Also got the AA from 3dmodelparts.com and upgraded rope reels set. She's painted in her November 1942 paint scheme.

Tried some pre-shading and post-shading on the hull.

Most of the primary construction and painting completed.

All rigged up and set in the sea base.

I also made an acrylic case to keep it safe and dust free.

And with my USS Baltimore which was the first decent ship I made. So many improvements since then though. But I do still like my camo paint job.
