GREAT BUILD!!! Just in time for another Yamato movie called "The Great War or Archimedes"!

Fantastic work indeed! :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1:
It is a very balanced model: sharp detailing, excellent painting, great figures, beautiful sea, ... These all combine to get a model with the right 'feel' to it.

Thank you ALL for the kind words! :)

Yes, this is the 1/700 Tamiya (31113) kit. Also, upgrades from ArtBox, Flyhawk, Hobby Elements, Lionroar, ModelKasten, North Star, Rainbow, Shelf Oddity and scratch-built parts.

A bit late on my behalf but that's just awesome! Maybe your first foray into 1/700 but what a way to make an entrance!
I enjoyed the WIP thread and will refer to it when it comes time to build my own Big Y in due course
Thanks for sharing this amazing work of art
Si

It is worth repeating; it's a beautiful build.

Apparently, 1/700 is not an issue for you. Time to go smaller
